Shimmering
Moon kissed silver curling
Glowing as moonbeams lance from above
Fireworks bloom
Against a purple sky
Dark as the skin of an aubergine
Winds scatter
Rainclouds that drift awry
No children are hiding in shadows
Trick or treat
Star shine watches below
Shadows hang dripping wet from tree limbs
My last poem of OctPoWriMo 2020! I have so enjoyed writing this month, as I have for the past few years. A wonderful challenge!
The prompt suggested writing about light, dark and shadow and I chose the poem form Parallelogram de Crystalline
